The True TUC-27F-HC undercounter freezer is built for long-lasting performance in demanding commercial kitchens. Its stainless steel exterior resists dents and scratches, while the clear-coated aluminum interior liner helps prevent corrosion. A stainless steel interior floor with coved corners allows quick cleanup by preventing debris buildup. Frozen items can be stored directly on the floor or on two adjustable PVC-coated wire shelves. A 12-inch recessed handle makes the door easy to open while conserving aisle space, and 5-inch casters allow the unit to be moved for cleaning underneath.

Cold air is retained with foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation, while a self-contained capillary tube system circulates eco-friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant to maintain a consistent -10°F operating temperature. The condenser and evaporator fan motors deliver steady airflow throughout the cabinet to ensure uniform cooling. For simplified service, the condenser assembly slides out from the rear of the unit.

To help maintain efficiency, the condenser fan motor automatically reverses for 20 seconds every time the compressor starts, blowing dust and debris off the condensing coil. This self-cleaning feature supports energy efficiency and long-term performance when used alongside routine preventive maintenance.
