What we carry

Twelve Marchia countertop refrigerated cases: the MDC100, MDC121, MDC130, MDC161, MDC201 and MDC261 curved glass models, and the MDC120-ST, MDC160-ST and MDC260-ST straight glass models, in widths of 27", 28", 32", 36" and 48". Several come in a white finish as well as black. See also our full range of bakery display cases.

How to choose

Curved or straight glass

Curved glass gives a classic bakery look and a wide viewing angle from the front and sides. Straight glass looks modern and lines up neatly when you run two cases side by side.

Width

Measure the counter, then leave room for the register and airflow around the unit. A 27" or 28" case fits beside a register; a 48" case holds a full display of cakes, pastries or grab-and-go items.

What goes inside

A refrigerated countertop case is for anything that must stay cold: cream cakes, cheesecake, cut fruit, sandwiches and bottled drinks. For bread, cookies and donuts a dry (non-refrigerated) countertop case is cheaper to run. For hot food use a heated display case.

Placement

Keep the case out of direct sun and away from ovens and fryers, and leave clearance for air to reach the condenser. A countertop case works hardest right at the point of sale, where it drives impulse purchases.
