Undercounter or worktop?

An undercounter refrigerator has a finished top that slides under an existing counter, usually about 34 in. high or less. A worktop refrigerator has a stainless top with a backsplash on many models, built to be used as a prep surface itself. Drawer models keep pans of product at hand height on a cook line.

Frequently asked questions

What height is an undercounter refrigerator?

Most undercounter refrigerators are around 29 to 34 in. tall so they fit under a standard 36 in. counter, but heights vary. Check each listing before you order.

Doors or drawers?

Doors hold more and suit bulk storage. Drawers hold full or half size pans and let cooks grab product without bending, which speeds up a busy line.

Are they certified?

The True models are NSF certified and most others are ETL listed.

Is freight included?

Yes. Freight and liftgate delivery are included on every order to the continental United States, with nothing added at checkout.

What to check before you order

The first decision is the top. An undercounter unit slides beneath an existing counter, while a worktop model has a finished top, often with a backsplash, and stands on its own as a prep surface. Measure the opening width, depth and height, including casters or legs, and check where the compressor breathes so you can leave the clearance the manual requires. Then choose doors or drawers based on what you store. A common mistake is measuring the space but not the door swing into the aisle.
