How to choose

Length

Match the warmer length to the pass shelf or holding area. Longer units cover more plates.

Mounting

Strip warmers hang from chains or mount under a shelf. The WL550 stands on the counter and moves where needed.

Holding time

Heat lamps keep plated food warm for a short time between the line and the dining room.

Frequently asked questions

What length strip warmer do I need?

Match the warmer to the length of the pass or holding area it sits over, so every plate in the window stays under heat.

Infrared strip warmer or bulb heat lamp?

Strip warmers spread even heat across a long pass. Bulb heat lamps focus heat on one spot, such as a carving station.

Are they certified?

Certification is listed on each product page.

Do you have steam tables?

Yes. See food warming equipment.

Is freight included?

Yes. Freight and liftgate delivery are included on every order to the continental United States, with nothing added at checkout.

What to check before you order

Measure the length of the pass or plating shelf first, then choose a strip warmer slightly shorter than that surface so the heat stays over the plates. Next check the mounting height the manufacturer recommends, because a unit hung too high does little and one hung too low dries food and overheats the shelf below. Decide between bulb lamps for a carving or plating station and strip warmers for a long pass. Confirm the voltage and whether the unit is hardwired or plugs in.
