Enclosed base or open base
An enclosed base keeps pans, containers and supplies out of sight and away from dust and splashes. Open base tables with undershelves cost less.
Wall cabinets
A wall mounted cabinet adds closed storage above a work area. The slope top stops items being stacked on top.

What to check before you order
Decide what the cabinet has to protect and where it will stand. Enclosed bases keep dust, splashes and pests away from stored items, which matters most near floors that get hosed down. Measure the footprint and the working height, and check that the doors can open fully in the aisle; sliding doors help in narrow spaces, hinged doors give wider access. Confirm the shelf is adjustable if you store tall containers. Check the product page for the steel type and gauge if the top will take heavy use.
