Designed to seal a scoop of gelato inside a warm, toasted bun, the Waring WICSP180 Single Commercial Panini Press w/ Aluminum Smooth Plates can be added to any frozen treat establishment. Operators place a toasted bun on the bottom plate, top it with gelato and a top bun, and then lower the top platen. As the embedded element heats the product, the buns seal around the gelato without leaving openings. The platens are triple coated and nonstick to facilitate cleaning. The electronic control panel is used to adjust the bake time from 5 to 15 seconds.
