Shipping Policy

free shipping throughout the continental USA

Every price on this site includes freight to the continental United States. No shipping charge is added at checkout, and no carrier surcharge is billed to you afterward. The number you see is the number you pay.

How your order ships

Smaller items — faucets, shelving, smallwares, hand sinks — ship by UPS or FedEx Ground. Very small parcels may go USPS.

Anything large or heavy — ranges, refrigeration, work tables, compartment sinks, ice machines — ships by LTL freight carrier on a pallet. Freight deliveries work differently from a parcel drop-off, so please read the section below before your equipment arrives.

Processing and transit times

  • In-stock items ship within 1–2 business days of your order.
  • Parcel shipments typically arrive 2–5 business days after shipping.
  • Freight shipments typically arrive 3–7 business days after shipping, depending on distance.
  • Factory-direct items can take 7–14 business days to leave the manufacturer.

We ship from warehouses in Florida and New Jersey. If anything on your order is delayed or backordered, we will contact you before it ships — not after.

What to expect from a freight delivery

Freight carriers deliver on a truck, not a van, and the process is different from a package delivery.

  • The carrier will call you to schedule. Delivery appointments are arranged in advance, usually within a 4-hour window. Please make sure the phone number on your order is one you will answer — undeliverable freight gets returned to the terminal and generates storage fees.
  • Liftgate service is included at no charge. If you do not have a loading dock or forklift, the driver will lower your equipment to ground level using a liftgate on the truck. You do not need to request it and you will not be billed for it.
  • Most freight equipment is delivered to a commercial address. Freight carriers are set up for businesses, and commercial delivery is faster and simpler for everyone. If the address on your order is residential, we will call you before shipping to work out the best option — often a nearby business address, your contractor’s shop, or pickup from the local freight terminal. We would rather have that conversation up front than surprise you on delivery day.
  • Delivery is curbside. The driver will bring your equipment to the ground at your address. Drivers are not permitted to bring equipment inside, up stairs, or into a basement. Please plan how you will move it from the curb to its final position — a pallet jack, a dolly, or a second pair of hands is usually enough.

Have this ready on delivery day

  • Someone over 18 present to receive and sign for the shipment.
  • A clear, accessible spot for the truck — many freight trucks are 48–53 feet long.
  • A way to move the equipment from the curb once it is on the ground.
  • A phone, a few minutes, and this page open.

Inspect your delivery before you sign

This is the most important part of this page. Once you sign a clean delivery receipt, the carrier’s liability for visible damage ends — and so does our ability to claim on your behalf. Two minutes here protects your whole order.

  1. Count the pieces against the delivery receipt before you sign.
  2. Walk around the pallet. Look for crushed corners, torn shrink wrap, punctures, dents, water staining, or a carton that has shifted on the pallet.
  3. Photograph anything that looks wrong — while the truck is still there.
  4. Write it on the delivery receipt. If you see damage, note it specifically before signing: “dent in left side panel,” “carton crushed, top right corner.” Do not accept a driver telling you to sign now and sort it out later. “Subject to inspection” alone is not enough — describe what you see.
  5. Refuse the delivery if the damage is severe. If a unit is visibly destroyed, refuse it, note the reason on the receipt, and call us. We will arrange a replacement. Refusing damaged freight is far faster than claiming on it after the fact.

Concealed damage

Some damage only appears once the packaging comes off. Please uncrate and inspect your equipment within 48 hours of delivery, even if you are not installing it yet. Report concealed damage to us within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs of both the item and its packaging, and keep all packaging material until the claim is resolved. Carriers routinely deny concealed-damage claims reported later or without the original packaging.

If something arrives damaged

Contact us at info@express-kitchquip.com or call 1-877-558-2253. Please have your order number, photographs, and a copy of the signed delivery receipt.

All shipments are insured. We file the carrier claim ourselves — you do not deal with the freight company. Once the claim is confirmed we will repair, replace, or refund the item, and we will tell you which and how long it will take.

Returns and cancellations

You may cancel an order at no cost any time before it ships. Once it has shipped, cancellation is treated as a return.

Unused equipment in its original packaging may be returned within 7 days of delivery for powered equipment (anything that plugs in or connects to gas) and 14 days of delivery for non-powered items such as work tables, sinks and shelving. Returns are subject to a restocking fee of up to 25%, depending on the manufacturer and the condition of the returned item, and return freight is the buyer’s responsibility. Because our prices include outbound freight, the original shipping cost is also deducted from the refund on freight-shipped items.

The following cannot be returned:

  • Custom, made-to-order and special-order equipment
  • Items that have been installed, used, or modified
  • Items returned without original packaging
  • Clearance and sale items

Contact us before returning anything — a return shipped without a return authorization number cannot be credited.

Areas we do not ship to

Free freight covers the 48 contiguous states. We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, other U.S. territories, or international destinations. If you need equipment delivered outside the continental U.S., contact us and we will quote it individually.

Questions before you order

If you are unsure whether your address can take a freight truck, how to get a unit through a doorway, or what your delivery will actually look like, call us before you buy. We would rather spend five minutes on the phone than sort out a refused delivery.
