Every item we sell is brand new and covered by the manufacturer’s own warranty. Express KitchQuip is an authorised dealer for the brands below, which is what keeps your coverage valid. The terms on this page are the manufacturer’s, reproduced from their published warranty documents — they are not our terms, and we cannot extend or alter them.
Coverage periods run from the date of original installation or delivery unless the manufacturer states otherwise. If you are unsure which warranty applies to a unit you already own, send us the model number and we will tell you.

True — important scope note
True’s 7-year parts and labor warranty applies to their General Foodservice, Premier Bar and Specialty Display categories on units shipped after 1 October 2023. It does not apply to True ice machines, residential units, or product from True’s Retail or International divisions. The warranty is not transferable and runs to the original purchaser.
Conditions that apply to most brands
- Original purchaser only. Warranties are generally not transferable if the equipment is resold.
- Purchase from an authorised dealer is required. We are one — that is part of what you are buying.
- Commercial installation only. Residential use voids coverage on most brands. Farm installations are typically parts-only, and food truck or mobile installations are usually parts-only with no onsite labor.
- Claims have a time limit. Several manufacturers require the defect to be reported within 30 days of you identifying it.
- Routine maintenance is not covered, and neglecting it can void coverage. Condenser coils generally need cleaning every 1–3 months depending on the manufacturer.
- Normal wear items are excluded — door gaskets, light bulbs, hinges and loose fasteners. Glass is excluded by most refrigeration manufacturers.
- Damage is excluded — misuse, unauthorised modification, vandalism, fire, flood, power fluctuation and improper utility connection.
Geographic limits you should know about
This is the condition customers are most often surprised by. The USR Brands family — Coldline, Cookline, Marchia, Prepline, Standard Range and Westlake — states that its warranty is valid only in the contiguous United States, and that it cannot guarantee service in California, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Wyoming and Utah. Other manufacturers have their own service-network limits.

Registration requirements
Most brands need no registration. Two exceptions worth knowing: Hoshizaki requires registration within 30 days of installation, and Hatco requires registration within 90 days of shipment to qualify for its extended component coverage. Migali uses your registration date to start the warranty clock.
How to make a claim
Contact us with your model number, serial number and order number, and a description of the fault — photos help. We will identify the right manufacturer service channel and get the claim moving. Manufacturers require their own authorised service providers to carry out warranty work, so please do not arrange your own repair before the claim is opened; unauthorised service voids coverage on every brand we carry.
Extended protection
Extended protection plans are available on many items, adding coverage beyond the manufacturer period. Where a plan is available you can add it on the product page, or ask us before you order.
Dukers equipment: most Dukers models can be extended with the Dukers factory plan, for one or two years beyond the standard warranty. It has no deductibles, includes up to $250 food spoilage reimbursement on refrigeration, and is valid in the 48 contiguous United States. The price depends on the model and is shown on the product page.
