How to Choose

Sizing

Grease traps are rated by flow rate in gallons per minute and grease capacity in pounds. Your plumber sizes the trap to the fixtures draining into it.

Low Profile Models

Low profile models fit under sinks where height is limited.

Local Rules

Many cities set their own grease interceptor rules. Check with your local utility or plumbing inspector.

Maintenance

Clean the trap on a regular schedule. A full trap is the most common cause of backed-up kitchen drains.
