What to check before you order
Identify the shelving you already own before ordering anything. Post diameter, shelf depth and the way shelves attach differ between systems, and parts from one system often do not fit another. Decide what problem you are solving: casters for mobility, ledges and dividers to keep product from sliding, or extra hooks and clips for expansion. If you add casters, note that the weight capacity of a mobile unit is usually lower than the same unit on feet. Measure twice, since a divider for the wrong shelf depth cannot be adjusted.
