- Plated food waiting for a server: strip warmer or heat lamp.
- Batches for catering or banquets: holding cabinet.
- Bread, rolls or plated items at the line: drawer warmer.
- Soups and sauces: kettle or countertop warmer.
- Fries: fry warmer. Rice: rice warmer.

Holding temperature
Hot food is held at 135 F or above under FDA Food Code 3-501.16, and food reheated for hot holding must reach 165 F within 2 hours before it goes in (3-403.11). These units hold; they do not reheat. Your local health department has the final say.

Which strip warmers are on backorder?
The Prepline SW36 and SW48 are on backorder at the time of writing; the SW24, SW60 and all five L&J LJFW lamps are listed in stock.
Do drawer warmers include pans?
The BDW2 page lists pans included. Check the BDW2N page for its contents.
Does the TFW-8000 need power?
No. It is a non-electric insulated warmer for short holding of hot rice.
