Description
These are full-height reach-in cabinets — the workhorse cold storage that lines the back wall of a commercial kitchen. Dukers builds them in one, two and three door widths, as refrigerators or freezers, with solid or glass doors, and with the compressor mounted either on top or underneath. Nineteen combinations in total, and the four decisions below are all you need to make.

1. How many doors?
One door is about 27 1/2″ wide and holds roughly 19 cu ft. Two doors is 55 1/8″ and about 42 cu ft. Three doors is 82 5/8″ and about 66 cu ft. Every model stands about 80″ tall, so measure your ceiling and your doorway before you order the three-door.
2. Refrigerator or freezer?
Refrigerators hold above freezing for produce, dairy and prepped product. Freezers hold below. The freezers cost more and draw far more power — see point four.
3. Solid or glass doors?
- Solid – holds temperature better, costs less, and hides the contents. Standard for back-of-house.
- Glass – staff can see what is in there without opening it, which saves cold air on a busy line, and it lets the cabinet double as display. Glass models are 1 3/8″ deeper than the solid version of the same cabinet.
4. Top mount or bottom mount?
- Bottom mount – compressor underneath. Easier to reach for service, keeps the heat low, and the top shelf sits at a comfortable height. Better in a hot kitchen where the ceiling traps heat.
- Top mount – compressor on the roof. Keeps the coil up out of floor grease and dust, which matters most in a fry-heavy kitchen or anywhere the floor gets mopped constantly. Slightly more usable interior — about half a cubic foot more on every size.
Check the circuit before you buy a freezer
The refrigerators are easy — 3.1 amps for a single door, 8.6 amps for a two or three door. The freezers are a different story: 9.5 amps for a single door, 14 amps for a two door, and 16 amps for a three door. Sixteen amps is more than a standard 15-amp circuit will carry. Have your electrician confirm what is available at the wall before you order a three-door freezer.

Freight and liftgate delivery are included in the price shown, anywhere in the continental US. Nothing is added at checkout and there is nothing to pay the driver. Please have someone available to receive the unit and inspect it before signing.

Common Questions
Is shipping free, and is liftgate delivery included?
Yes. Shipping is free to the lower 48 states and DC, with nothing added at checkout. Larger items ship by freight truck with liftgate delivery included, and the carrier calls ahead to schedule. Smaller items ship by parcel. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico.
Do I need a plumber or electrician?
Usually not. Most refrigeration plugs into an outlet, so check the voltage and plug type in the specifications above. After delivery, let it stand upright for several hours (ideally 24) before plugging it in so the refrigerant can settle.
Does it come with a warranty?
Yes. It is covered by the manufacturer's warranty, shown on this page. Keep your delivery paperwork, and inspect the unit for freight damage before signing for it.
Can I pick it up instead of having it shipped?
Equipment like this ships directly from the manufacturer's warehouse, so pickup usually is not available. If you are in the NJ/NY area, call 877-558-2253 and we will check for you.
