Stainless steel wall shelf
Wall shelving is the cheapest square footage in a commercial kitchen. It takes storage off the work surface and off the floor, and it puts what a cook reaches for most within arm’s reach of where they stand.
How to read the sizes
Every size on this page reads length first, depth second. A 48"L × 12"D shelf is 48 inches wide along the wall and sticks out 12 inches. Pick the length to match the run of wall or the table below it, then pick the depth for what you are storing.
- 6" – 8" deep — spice containers, squeeze bottles, small cambros. Stays out of the way over a prep line
- 10" – 12" deep — the usual choice. Holds full-size hotel pans, plates, dry goods
- 14" – 18" deep — stock pots, mixing bowls, cases of product
- 24" deep — heavy bulk storage, or when the shelf is doing the job of a table
Build
- 18 gauge stainless steel throughout, rated to hold up to 600 lb
- 1" rear backsplash so stored items do not sit against the wall
- Bullnose front edge — no sharp lip to catch a hand or a sleeve
- Welded corners and welded support brackets, not bolted-on angle
- NSF certified, so it passes health inspection in a commercial kitchen
- Mounting brackets and hardware included
Mounting
Fasten the brackets into studs or into solid masonry. On drywall alone use appropriate anchors rated for the load you intend to put on it — a fully loaded 48" shelf is heavy. If you are not sure what your wall will take, call us on +1-877-558-2253 before you order.
Common Questions
Is shipping free, and is liftgate delivery included?
Yes. Shipping is free to the lower 48 states and DC, with nothing added at checkout. Larger items ship by freight truck with liftgate delivery included, and the carrier calls ahead to schedule. Smaller items ship by parcel. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico.
Is it hard to set up?
No plumber, electrician or gas hookup is needed. Tables and shelving ship flat and assemble with basic hand tools. Wall shelves should be mounted into studs or solid backing.
How fast will it ship?
The shipping time is shown in the badge next to the price. Once your order ships you get an email with tracking. Freight carriers call to set up a delivery window.
Can I pick it up in New Jersey?
Many stainless steel items can be picked up at our Newark, NJ warehouse (250 Passaic St), Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5pm, by appointment. Please call 877-558-2253 before you come so we can confirm this item is ready for pickup.
