Why the Energy Star model costs more
This is the high-efficiency build. It burns fewer BTU than the standard 35 lb fryer but is engineered to transfer more of that heat into the oil rather than up the flue, so fry output holds while gas consumption drops. You pay more up front and get it back on the gas bill — the payback depends on how many hours a day the fryer runs. If the unit only fires during a lunch rush, the standard model is usually the better buy.
Best For
Wing shops, chicken concepts, fish fries, burger and fry lines, food trucks and any kitchen where the fryer is a primary station rather than an occasional one.
Requires a gas connection and a Type I hood. Free shipping included.
Common Questions
Is shipping free, and is liftgate delivery included?
Yes. Shipping is free to the lower 48 states and DC, with nothing added at checkout. Larger items ship by freight truck with liftgate delivery included, and the carrier calls ahead to schedule. Smaller items ship by parcel. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico.
Do I need a gas hookup or installer?
Yes. Gas equipment must be connected by a licensed gas professional. You will also need a flexible gas connector hose, which most equipment does not include. We sell a commercial gas connector kit with quick disconnect.
Is it natural gas or propane?
The specifications above show which gas type the unit ships for and whether it can be converted. If you are not sure which you need, call 877-558-2253 before ordering.
Can I pick it up instead of having it shipped?
Equipment like this ships directly from the manufacturer's warehouse, so pickup usually is not available. If you are in the NJ/NY area, call 877-558-2253 and we will check for you.
