This is the standard-efficiency build — more raw BTU, lower purchase price. Migali also makes an Energy Star version of this 40 lb fryer that uses less gas for comparable output at a higher up-front cost. If the fryer runs all day, the efficient model tends to pay for itself; for lighter or intermittent use, this one is the better value.

Is shipping free, and is liftgate delivery included?
Yes. Shipping is free to the lower 48 states and DC, with nothing added at checkout. Larger items ship by freight truck with liftgate delivery included, and the carrier calls ahead to schedule. Smaller items ship by parcel. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico.
Do I need a gas hookup or installer?
Yes. Gas equipment must be connected by a licensed gas professional. You will also need a flexible gas connector hose, which most equipment does not include. We sell a commercial gas connector kit with quick disconnect.
Is it natural gas or propane?
