Description
A stock pot range is a low, very high output gas burner built to sit under a pot too big and too heavy to lift onto a normal range. Cast iron three-ring burners put 80,000 BTU per hour under each pot, and the two manual controls per burner let you run the inner ring alone for a long simmer or open both for a hard boil. Stock, sauce, beans, tamales, seafood boils — anything that lives in a 40 to 100 quart pot.
Tall or low profile?
- DCSPA series – 22 4/5″ high. The standard working height for lifting a pot on and off.
- DCSPB series – 18″ high. Lower deck, so a tall pot still clears a hood or an overhead shelf, and less lifting to get a full pot down.
One pot or two?
The “1” models give one 18″ x 18″ cooking area at 80,000 BTU/h. The “2” models double it — two positions and 160,000 BTU/h total — in a cabinet about 18″ longer.
Gas type
These are built for natural gas or propane, at 5″ WC and 10″ WC respectively, with different nozzles for each. Tell us which gas you run when you order so it arrives configured correctly. Gas connection is 3/4″ NPT at the rear and a regulator is included.

Common Questions
Is shipping free, and is liftgate delivery included?
Yes. Shipping is free to the lower 48 states and DC, with nothing added at checkout. Larger items ship by freight truck with liftgate delivery included, and the carrier calls ahead to schedule. Smaller items ship by parcel. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico.
Do I need a gas hookup or installer?
Yes. Gas equipment must be connected by a licensed gas professional. You will also need a flexible gas connector hose, which most equipment does not include. We sell a commercial gas connector kit with quick disconnect.
Is it natural gas or propane?
The specifications above show which gas type the unit ships for and whether it can be converted. If you are not sure which you need, call 877-558-2253 before ordering.
Can I pick it up instead of having it shipped?
Equipment like this ships directly from the manufacturer's warehouse, so pickup usually is not available. If you are in the NJ/NY area, call 877-558-2253 and we will check for you.
